Shahi Tukda is a delicious dessert made from bread, which is served as a dessert after a meal. To make it, bread is deep-fried by putting it in ghee or oil. You can make it for any festival or when you want to eat something sweet, it is very easy to make.


Ingredients:-

Milk – 2½ cups full fat
Condensed Milk – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
Kesar – 4-5
Khoya – 2 tablespoon grated
Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
Bread – 4 slices
Ghee or Oil for frying
Cashew Nuts – 1/2 tablespoon chopped
Pistachios – 1/2 tablespoon chopped
Almonds – 1/2 tablespoon chopped

How to Make Shahi Tukda (Cooking Method)

Step – 1 Put milk and saffron in a vessel and cook till it becomes thick.

Step – 2 After that add sugar to it. When the sugar melts, remove it from the stove. Now add condensed milk, cardamom powder, and grated khoya and mix it well.


Step – 3 Remove the edge of the bread slice and cut it into 4 triangles or 4 equal squares.

Step – 4 Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium heat. Fry the sliced bread till it turns golden brown. After that take it out and keep it on a plate.

Step – 5 Now take a bowl and put the thickened milk batter in it. Add fried bread to it. After this, garnish with chopped dry fruits. Keep it in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes.

Now your Shahi Tukda is ready. You can serve it after a meal, as a dessert.
