Friends, if you want to make something nice and quick in the morning breakfast, then you can make Rava Dosa, Rava Dosa is made very easily and very quickly, there is no need to prepare in advance to make it. So let’s know how it is made.


Ingredients:-

Rava (semolina) – 1/2 cup
Rice flour – 1/2 cup
Flour – 1/4 cup
Cumin – 1 tsp
Green Chili – 1 finely chopped
Ginger – 1/4 inch piece finely chopped
Curry Leaves – 5-6 chopped
Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp finely chopped
Onion – 1 finely chopped (optional)
Water – 2¼ – 2½ cups (approx)
Oil, for frying the dosa
Salt to taste

How to Make Rava Dosa (Cooking Method)

Step – 1 Put the Rava (semolina), rice flour, and all-purpose flour in a bowl. Add salt and water. Mix it well. Take care that there should be no lumps.

Step – 2 Now add cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, grated ginger, curry leaves, finely chopped coriander leaves, and finely chopped onions.


Step – 3 Mix it well. Cover it with a plate and let it set for 20 minutes. After about 20 minutes, check the solution again. After soaking, the Rava (semolina) absorbs water and makes the batter thick. Add more water to the solution if necessary. Mix the solution well.

Step – 4 Heat a non-stick tava on medium heat. Keep in mind that the Tawa is medium hot otherwise, the batter will stick to the pan, and the dosa will not come out easily. Take the batter in a round spoon and pour it starting from the edge and moving it in a circular shape in the middle.

Step – 5 Sprinkle a little oil around the edges of the dosa. Let it cook till light golden brown. It will take about two minutes.

Step – 6 Flip it over and let the other side cook for a minute or until it becomes slightly crisp.


Step – 7 After cooking, take it out and put it on a plate. Cook the rest of the batter in the same way.

Now your Rava dosa is ready. You can serve Rava dosa with green coconut chutney, red coconut chutney, and vegetable sambar for breakfast.
