To make it, first cook the lentils and rajma in a pressure cooker till they become soft and then temper with onions, tomatoes, and spices, then pour fresh cream on top. Let us know how to make it.


Ingredients:-

Black Urad Dal – 1/2 cup soaked in water for 8-12 hours
Rajma – soaked in water for 8-12 hours
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Milk – 200 ml Boiled
Onion – 1 large finely chopped
Ginger – 1 tsp Grated or finely chopped
Garlic – 3-4 cloves, crushed
Green Chilies – 2 finely chopped
Tomato – 1 medium finely chopped
Butter – 2 tbsp
Fresh Cream – 3 tbsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil – 1 tbsp
Water – as per required
Whole Garam Masala – Bay leaf, Cinamon (Optional)
Makhana – 5-7

How to Make Dal Makhani (Cooking Method)

Step – 1 Cook the soaked urad dal and rajma in a pressure cooker.

Step – 2 Take a frying pan and heat it. Put oil in it, when the oil becomes hot, then add tempering of cumin and whole garam masala.


Step – 3 Add chopped garlic, green chilies, and ginger and fry for a while. After that add chopped onion and cook for a while.

Step – 4 Add chopped tomatoes and cook it for a while. After that add cooked urad and rajma dal and mix it well. after that add butter.

Step – 5 Now add milk and makhana to it and cook for a while. After that add salt as per taste. After that add coriander leaves. then put fresh cream on top.

Now your dal makhani is ready. You can serve it with rice or paratha.
