Pav bhaji is a delicious and popular dish in which mixed vegetables are cooked with spices to make spicy vegetables and bhaji is served with soft pav baked in butter. Pav Bhaji is used in Snacks and Snacks.
Ingredients: –
Potatoes – 2 medium chopped (about 1½ cups)
Green Peas – 1/2 cup (fresh or frozen)
Cauliflower – 3/4 cup chopped (about 1/4 cauliflower)
Carrot – 1/2 cup chopped (about 1 medium)
Onion – 1 large, finely chopped (about 3/4 cup)
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Tablespoon
Tomatoes – 2 medium finely chopped (about 1¼ cup)
Capsicum – 1/2 cup chopped (about 1 small)
Red chili powder – 1½ tsp (or less)
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander-Cumin Powder – 1 tsp (Optional)
Pav Bhaji Masala Powder – 1 tsp Readymade (ex. Everest)
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
Butter – 2 tablespoons
Butter – to serve
Coriander – finely chopped
Pav buns – 8 to serve
How to Make Pav Bhaji
Step 1 – First cut all the vegetables into small pieces and after cutting, wash them thoroughly. Or wash and cut.
Step 2 – After that put all the vegetables in a pressure cooker, add some salt and water, and put it on the gas. And set up 2 cities. After that turn off the gas and let the cooker cool down. When it cools down, open the cooker and mash the vegetable with the masher.
Step 3 – Now take a pan, heat it and put oil and butter in it. Add chopped onion and fry the onion. After that, fry ginger garlic paste.
Step 4 – Add chopped capsicum, tomatoes and cook for a while after that add salt. Cook the capsicum and tomatoes till they become soft.
Step 5 – Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and pav bhaji masala and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. After that add water and cook it well for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 6 – Add the cooked vegetable and lemon juice, mix. And let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Check the salt in the bhaji and add salt accordingly. Then add green coriander. Now your bhaji is ready to serve.
Step 7 – Now cut the loaf buns from the middle with the help of a knife in such a way that it is connected to the other side. And heat a pan on medium flame, put a little butter in it, and roast the pav buns till they turn light brown in color. Bake from both sides.
Step 8 – Now your Pav Bhaji is ready to serve. Take out the bhaji in a bowl and garnish it with a piece of butter and serve hot with baked pav, chopped onion, and lemon.
