Ingredients:-
Curd – 1 cup (sour)
Besan – 1/4 cup
Water – 1½ cups
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
salt to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Grated Ginger – 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili – 2 dry
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander – 1 tbsp finely chopped
How to Make Kadhi (Cooking Method)
Step – 1 Put curd and gram flour in a bowl and beat it with a spoon or blender.
Step – 2 Add water, turmeric powder, and salt to it. Beat it well again with a spoon or blender. Take care that there are no knots.
Step -3 Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. When it starts crackling, add cumin and grated ginger.
Step – 4 Add curd-gram flour mixture to it and mix well. Cook it on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring it with a ladle so that the curry does not burn. If the mixture is getting too thick, keep adding more water.
Step – 5 Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. When the oil becomes hot enough, remove it from the gas and add dry Kashmiri red chili and red chili powder. immediately pour it over the curry. Mix it well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step – 6 After that turn off the gas and put chopped green coriander leaves in it.
Now Kadhi is ready. You can serve it with rice or paratha.
