Ingredients: –

Paneer – 250 grams, cut into square pieces
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Cashew – 5 Pieces
Capsicum – 2 medium-sized, cut into square pieces
Tomatoes – 3 medium sized finely chopped
Onion – 1 cut into square pieces
Onion – 2 medium sized finely chopped
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tablespoon
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/3 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi – 2 tsp
Oil or Ghee – 3 tablespoons
Fresh cream – 2 tablespoons
Salt, as per taste
Fresh coriander – finely chopped

For Special Kadai Masala Powder

Whole Kashmiri Red Chili – 1 no.
Black pepper – 45 nos.
Saunf – 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Green cardamom – 1 inch


How to Make Kadai Paneer (Cooking Method)

For Special Kadai Masala Powder

Roast all the whole spices in a pan on medium heat for a while, making sure not to burn. After roasting keep it on one side, when it gets cold then put it in the grinder to grind it finely.

Kadai Paneer Recipe

Step – 1 Heat a pan, add oil or ghee to it and heat it, add chopped onion and cook it till it turns golden brown.

Step – 2 Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a while. Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cashews and fry for 1-2 minutes.

Step – 3 Add chopped tomatoes and cook. When cooked well, keep it on one side to cool down. When it cools down, grind it in a grinder.

Step – 4 Take a pan, add a little oil or ghee, add cube chopped capsicum and onion, and cook in it.


Step – 5 Now add grounded onion-tomato spices to it. Cook for a while, if water is needed, then add some water to it. Add salt as required.

Step – 6 Now add the chopped paneer (You can also fry the paneer and add it). Mix well and cook for a while.

Step – 7 Now add grounded kadhai special Masala Powder and fenugreek to it. Then add fresh cream. After that add chopped coriander leaves.

Kadai paneer is now ready and can be served with butter naan or tandoori roti.
